In the installation, trace the route from inlet to outlet. Ask someone to point out which part drives, pumps and regulates, and which machine is still original.
A model gives an overview
Use a scale model to understand the difference in height, the storage basin and the polder. Then compare the model with the view outside the building.

Before you go
Normally open from 1 April to 31 October, Tuesday–Sunday 13.00–16.00; another page gives 1 November as the end date. Groups can visit by appointment all year round. In principle the museum is closed on public holidays; check for special open days.
