A history of study and scholarship
Portraits, photos, academic gowns and medals are part of the collection. They offer different ways into the university and student life. With an object, look at which person or occasion is explained, so that a name does not remain without background.
A limited visible selection
The presentation runs through parts of a building that is also used for university gatherings. In addition, part of the collection has moved to storage depots. Which pieces are visible during a visit is therefore not fixed as a permanent museum route.
Research by appointment
Consulting archive material requires contacting the curator. No regular guided tours are offered. Even for a look inside the Academiegebouw, you need to check current access and take into account PhD ceremonies, inaugural lectures and other activities.
