A large piece of equipment changes the way you look at a living space. Notice how much room it takes up and how other functions fit around it. The house makes the link between living and working tangible.
From thread to cloth
A weaving or spinning demonstration helps you tell the different actions apart. Ask what exactly you are seeing and which step comes before it. Then look at a piece of textile again: its structure becomes more recognisable once you have followed how it is made.
A narrow entrance
The building has high thresholds and a narrow corridor. Only a narrow wheelchair with assistance can access the ground floor, to a limited extent; discuss this in advance. Admission is free, but card payment is not available for a voluntary contribution.
