A specialised subject
The former collection focused on ambulance care and first aid. Vehicles and other material made that subject visible. This museum description refers to the history of the collection, not to a current exhibition on the Vondellaan.
Storing is not exhibiting
Parts have been housed elsewhere, but the storage locations mentioned in The Hague and Apeldoorn are not open to the public. The fact that a vehicle has been preserved therefore does not mean you can visit it there.

Earlier information about regular Wednesday opening days in Leiden is out of date. No new general visiting schedule has been confirmed. If you are looking for a specific vehicle or document, contact the current collection organisation instead of travelling to the old address.
