A spiral wooden staircase is a striking feature of the interior. Look at its construction and the way the staircase sits within the building. That concrete detail is a good starting point for the rest of your tour.
A room to take in
In the meeting room, a beamed ceiling, chimneypiece and stained glass come together. Give the room as a whole your attention too: how do these elements relate to one another? The architecture and furnishings are the heart of the visit here.
No daily drop-in
The building is also used for events and hire. That does not mean it is open as a museum every day. Groups of six or more can request a visit through Vereniging Hendrick de Keyser; for other options, follow the announced calendar.
