A charged subject
The museum function focuses on the Second World War and the capitulation. That subject remains present in the plans, but an announced fit-out is not yet an exhibition you can visit now.
More functions in one building
The intended combination with neighbourhood activities and catering changes how the building can be used in future. Which parts will be accessible will have to emerge from the final visitor information.
Waiting for a date
A reopening is envisaged by 2029 at the latest, without a definitive visiting schedule. So do not use old school museum hours when planning a trip to the Rijksstraatweg.
Before you go
The building is currently closed. After an opening announcement, check the actual date, booking and accessibility; plans or construction updates are not a confirmed visiting arrangement.
