Reading a scale model
A scale model helps you see spatial relationships. Read which period or scene the model represents; it is an aid to the explanation and not a substitute for it.
Finds and their use
With a find, look not only at its shape and material, but also at why it has been included in this display. The link with Rijnsburg makes an object more than a stand-alone example.
On the upper floor
Upstairs you will find changing exhibitions, among other things. Ask in advance about the current subject and access if stairs are a limitation for your visit.
Before you go
Regular opening is on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. Other days may apply during the festival week (feestweek); outside the schedule you can visit the museum by appointment.
