Notice the relationship between the playfield, the controls and the score. Playing a few times can reveal differences that are less noticeable when you only look, within the machines that are available and working.

Artwork, lighting and sound give each machine its own presentation. Compare how these elements direct your attention and how they relate to the game you are trying to understand.
Choosing a time slot
Opening is organised in slots on Wednesdays and at weekends. Booking online determines your entry; a day pass and a shorter slot offer different options.
Before you go
Book in advance and check the exact start time. According to the visitor information, the Museumkaart (Dutch museum pass) and Rotterdampas are not valid; the entrance is on the waterside by the Voorhaven.
