Reading a medal
On a small object, text, portrait and symbol can sit close together. Take time to distinguish these elements before reading the commentary on the subject or the occasion.
Digital depth
The Highlights presentation uses a touchscreen to show more information. It lets you look at details that are less easy to spot in a display case and follow connections between objects.
A campus venue
The gallery is in the Erasmus Building (Erasmusgebouw) on the Burgemeester Oudlaan. Access follows the building’s hours and is therefore organised differently from a museum that regularly receives the public at weekends.
Before you go
Check campus opening during holidays and on public holidays. The presentation is accessible on weekdays according to the schedule; ask in advance about the right entrance and the accessible route.
