No current purpose
The former site in the Lloydkwartier no longer has a museum schedule. The website now refers to the event venue Het Boegbeeld and does not signal a reopening.
The project is now history
The reconstruction, training workshop and museum function belong to a completed project. The former opening hours no longer apply and the site offers no regular museum visits.
The collection is dispersed
After the public sale, it has not been confirmed that inventory or ship parts are being shown together elsewhere. Only a current listing of a location can settle the matter for an individual object.
Before you go
Permanently closed as a museum since the bankruptcy in December 2018; the collection and inventory have been sold. `dedelft.nl` now relates to an event venue. Do not travel to the former shipyard site expecting to visit a museum or the former reconstruction collection.
