For an object, read not only the name and material but also its provenance, collecting history and maker, where these are known. Note information that is visibly missing.

Exhibitions may link historic objects with contemporary makers. Ask who is telling a story and from what position the museum provides commentary.
Superstraat is booked separately
The hands-on exhibition has its own times and requires booking. Check whether the programme is open on your day and suits the age and length of your visit.
Before you go
Open Tuesday–Friday 10.00–17.00 and Saturday and Sunday 11.00–17.00; Monday closed, except for specific holiday and public holiday Mondays. Closed on New Year’s Day, King’s Day and Christmas Day. Superstraat has a separate schedule and must be booked.
