Compare photographs from two periods and note which farm, road or watercourse disappeared, remained or changed its function. Only use a map if one is available in the current exhibition.
The miller’s cottage as a scale
The small space calls for a focused selection. Ask which part comes from the society’s permanent collection and which part belongs to the temporary exhibition.
A collection in several places
Material also appears in the library and the medical centre. Check in each announcement which location is meant before you go looking for an object.
Before you go
There is no fixed weekly schedule. Exhibitions are usually open on separately published Saturdays from King’s Day to early December; the most recent times found were from 2025 and do not automatically apply to 2026. Call or e-mail the manager before every visit. Groups by appointment only.
