During a smithing demonstration, look at which techniques are shown and which safety adaptations are modern. Ask which parts of the former workshop are used in it.
The home alongside the craft
The kitchen and period room show daily life alongside work. Compare the furnishings, materials and route through the rooms without attributing all the objects to a single family.
Water as a recurring theme
The exhibition Dorp in het water deals with local memories of the flood disaster. Ask what material is available to follow one place name or event.

Open Saturday 11.00–16.00; on other days only groups of ten or more, by appointment. Closed in January. Check public holidays and demonstration times in advance. Regional sources differ on the age limit for free admission for young people and on the current admission charge.
