No regular visits
Westhavenkade 45 is not an active museum address. The Reedershuys is being redeveloped, and an occasional opening of the period rooms does not mean the documentation centre has returned.
The instruments moved
Part of the collection is being catalogued at the MIM in Brussels. Check there which objects are accessible digitally or in person.
The historical collection remains described
The former library and instrument collection belong to an institution that has closed. Westhavenkade 45 therefore no longer has a regular museum schedule.
Before you go
No longer open as a museum or documentation centre. The collection has been donated and the Reedershuys is being redeveloped. Only occasional monument or period-room openings may take place. Do not travel to Westhavenkade 45 expecting to see the former instrument collection.
