Polder maps give an overview that you cannot take in at a glance outdoors. Make the link with the photos, films and other images in the collection. That way you can compare different ways in which a mill and its surroundings are recorded.
The people behind the mills
Documents and genealogical information on millers’ families add a human side. Mill equipment and paintings are also part of the collection. Ask which parts will be explained during your visit; a guided tour can help you find connections.
Finding the upper floor
The museum is above Historisch Centrum Ons Verleden, at the same building address on the Tweemanspolder. There is a stairlift. The monthly opening falls on the last Saturday; for another time, make an appointment and confirm access.
Before you go
Check the exact visiting hours and any change in December. A visit outside the open Saturday is by appointment.
