A timeline of experiences
The timeline and themed rooms provide a framework for what you play. Notice the differences between games and their controls. A short go at playing can make clear why an older game demands different attention from something you already know.
From arcade to rhythm game
Classics such as Pac-Man, a 1980s-style arcade hall and Japanese rhythm games provide variety. Do not just try familiar favourites. An unfamiliar type of game in particular can prompt you to look at how image, sound and movement work together.
Choose your playing time
There are different visit durations; short tickets are sold at the ticket desk. The museum is on the Luxemburglaan, no longer at its former address in the Stadshart-passage. There is a special entrance and a lift for wheelchair users.
Before you go
Check the current schedule and the right ticket; holiday hours may differ from the usual Wednesday, Friday and weekend opening.
