Museum Flehite is now called Museum Amersfoort. It remains in three late-medieval wall houses on Westsingel, in the historic city centre. The institution’s history goes back to 1870, when members of the Flehite historical society began collecting stories and objects.

The permanent presentation Amorfortia has taken visitors through centuries of city history since July 2026. It begins with a multimedia model of Amersfoort. The route then explores local artists, historic objects and the city’s links to slavery, among other subjects.

For visitors on Thursday 15 October, the changeover matters: Amorfortia is accessible at a 50 per cent discount, while the permanent exhibition Ooggetuigen van de Oorlog is closed. The museum says the discount applies during the changeover from 7 through 15 October.

On Friday 16 October, Adri Pieck: Kunstenaar & Activist and Armando: Het schuldige landschap open. The following day, Saturday 17 October, the museum holds Feest voor de stad. Admission is free that day, with activities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The wheelchair-accessible entrance is at Westsingel 50. The museum normally opens Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closes on Monday. Regular admission is €16 for adults and €8 for students; visitors aged eighteen and under and Museumkaart holders enter free.
