Stedelijk Museum Kampen reopened on 3 October 2026 after renovation. Its main site is the historic town hall on Oudestraat. In the medieval Schepenzaal, objects and images tell the story of the Hanseatic era, according to the museum.

The renovation was intended to make the displays more flexible. According to the museum, historic objects are now combined with contemporary art.
