From 15 September 2026 to 3 January 2027, the Kröller-Müller Museum is showing Van Gogh, All Our Paintings. All 88 paintings by Vincent van Gogh from this collection can be seen together, for the first time since 1984. Helene Kröller-Müller assembled most of them between 1908 and 1930. The exhibition groups them around faith, hope and love: three words that recur in his life and letters and here offer a route through the ensemble.
So what you see is not ‘Van Gogh complete’. It is what one collector chose over more than twenty years from a body of work that itself came into being in roughly ten working years. An early weaver hangs on the same route as a late olive grove because Helene wanted both, not because they were ever meant for the same wall. That coherence is the adventure: you notice which motifs she kept returning to and which periods carry more weight.
On Saturday 19 September, the rooms of this exhibition close from 14.30 for the official opening. If you are coming specially for the 88 canvases, you have that morning until 14.30. The other rooms and the sculpture garden stay open until 17.00.
Take two paintings that are close in date and ask what the hang adds to them. Sometimes it is simply colours seeking each other out. Sometimes it is a theme you would otherwise overlook.
